I am using mostly the yellow, gray and blue prints of Bella by Lotta Jansdotter, with a few other yellow added in for more variety. Elizabeth's tutorial calls for cotton duck canvas and quilt batting instead of heavy interfacings.
One side panel complete - without the pocket.
The same side panel with the pocket on top. I'll be honest, this is a time-consuming process, but it is not difficult and I am enjoying watching the pieces take shape. The only change I have made so far is to replace the piping at the top edge of the pocket with a binding strip (the gray and white stripe). My machine is not loving the thickness of the pieces so I hope it can manage sewing them all together!! I have decided to take my time and enjoy the process of making this bag - I'll post updates as it progresses!!
Oh, if you are wondering about the red rabbits, they are there to remind me not to take things too seriously and because I love a pop of red!
