The current trend in quiltmaking, especially among those that use the modern quilt label, is to omit the borders. Usually, I am all to eager to follow the trend as sewing on long border strips is not my favorite part of the process. But I have to tell you, I love the look of borders, and on this quilt, I think the border took it from blah to ooh-la-la!!
Of course, that may have something to do with the gorgeous Amy Butler Belle fabric I used!! And the Sandi Henderson Henna Garden in teal isn't bad eiether.
